We have stayed in this comfy hotel for 1 night, everything was very good, the location was magnificent close to many sights. Location: the property was just next door to France, the restaurant and Brive-la-Gaillarde. Found The Lord High Admiral with perfect drinks 400 metres away. Enjoyed the restaurant for lunch and dinner. We would recommend it...

Friendly staff taking good care of you. The room was spacious and with sufficient comfort and with 35 degrees outside we enjoyed the air con. The restaurant served a fixed menu which was well cooked and beautifully presented. The breakfast buffet was excellent, decent choice of very good quality.

Lovely atmosphere and delicious food. The Auberge De Cartassac truly captures the essence of a charming French inn. The dinner was outstanding, with a mouthwatering seafood gratin starter and melt-in-your-mouth pork. The dining room, breakfast room, and lounge/bar offered great spaces for planning the day. The outside area with the pool was perfect for relaxing in the evening. The couple who run the inn, though limited in English, were incredibly welcoming and thoughtful. The rooms, while ordinary, were pleasant, especially if you book one facing the pool and the castle of Turenne. I'll recommend this hotel for a delightful French experience.

This hotel is very nice, with up to date fittings & fixtures, and is very close to Turenne, a picturesque hillside town. I chose this hotel for the price and the location as a stopover point between Paris & the south of France, but it would be lovely as a destination for a few days if you wanted to spend some time in the countryside. The restaurant looked very nice, but is closed on Sundays, so I can't comment on that. Eugene, the host, was very accommodating and recommended a restaurant very close by.
Although it was only May when I was there, the weather was warm & sunny and it would have been more pleasant to sit outside if the garden had been tidied up.

nice country-side around, nice old building
there was some intense, disgusting stench coming out of the sink in the bath-room - this was just too much, not easy to find the hotel (although we had 2 navigation-systems in the car)
